How do you practice self-care?

I know for sure I didn’t practice self – care when I was young and I am sure most people can agree. You really have very little understanding of how to look after your self to prevent physical injury, mental injury or health injury. My most common problem as a young boy was physical injury to myself due to being curious about jumping over things, climbing things, and generally wanting to find out if it would hurt and most of the time it did. As I get older I worked out what did and what didn’t and practicing self – care definitely got easier. Nowadays I practice self- care a lot differently which has moved onto my health side which as you grow older is far more important from when you were young when your body did everything automatically. I take alot of supplements now for my health and the kitchen top in the morning looks more like a pharmaceutical than a place to make breakfast and have a coffee. It helps me and my body look after each other in harmony and self care for the remainder of my life. One other self care technique I have is wake up positive every morning no matter how things are and at least you have a chance to feel good for that day, it’s worth a try
